Our Roots
Wear Old began as a pop-up vintage clothing company during our college years in 2018. Over that time, we’ve hosted more than 100 pop-up events across the U.S. and dedicated more hours than we care to admit sourcing vintage clothing from the Goodwill Bins and learning the old lessons of construction firsthand—by weight, by thread, by touch. Like many, we started with the Y2K staples, single-stitch tees, and sportswear but quickly evolved into industry experts in True Vintage (garments from the 1930s to 1970s). From the beginning, we’ve been committed to pushing back against the waste and exploitation of fast fashion. That belief still drives us today as we transition from selling secondhand to producing USA-made heritage blanks, giving brands an ethical, elevated alternative to today’s weak blank clothing market.
